Manchester Police are investigating a “threat” at Coffee County Central High School that school officials became aware of around 2 p.m. today. Students were evacuated around 2:30 p.m. They initially were told that the early dismissal was because of weather.

UPDATE: Coffee County Sheriff Steve Graves tells tsinews.com that the bomb threat was received by a note found at the school. The sheriff said school and law enforcement officials thought it best to sweep the school to make sure that no explosive devices were on campus.
No bomb was found.
