The potholes in Atlanta roads, in which you can normally fish for bass after a rain, were available for ice fishing. On the bright side, 5 years after a trillion dollars in the snow job called “stimulus” were spent, Atlanta finally had some shovel-ready jobs — for two days.
Tuesday’s State of the Union dress-down was another divisive, arrogant and partisan lecture by a failed president. I am glad four of the Supreme Court Justices stopped coming since Obama rudely attacked them. During the Statist of the Union speech, Joe Biden dutifully sat behind the President and clapped on cue to his liberal laundry […]
Just in his second term, Obama has already pivoted among immigration, gun control, climate change, college education, ObamaCare and now “equality” — whatever he interprets that to mean. Usually it involves a speech about spending more money. He is so serious about it that he has hired that South African sign language guy to interpret his upcoming State of the Statist Union speech for us.

There is no telling how much money these Communist leaders would have if they were not all about “sharing the wealth.” A Socialist political figure has not shaken down businesses for that big a piece of their action since Al Gore. Gore made money with his promise of political protection for companies and his environmental alarmist extortion act. The one “inconvenient truth” in the green energy business is that it uses only recycled politicians as its source of power.
This week, nearly a thousand Tennesseans have reached out to me with phone calls, emails, and Facebook posts to weigh in on the ongoing conflict in Syria. I am grateful to each of you for lending your voice to this important discussion and letting me know your thoughts. I look forward to attending the administration’s […]
