The Coffee County Sheriff’s Department along with TBI and ABC agents seized a significant pot operation at a house in rural Coffee County, Tenn. today. Authorities said a TBI helicopter spotted some 85 plants growing in and around a house off of Harpo Road.
No details have been released yet as authorities were assessing whether there were explosives on site. Ten bulldogs that were protecting the house were taken in by animal control. Several stolen ATVs were also confiscated.
Coffee County Sheriffs investigator Danny Ferrell said sealed indictments from state ABC agents will be forthcoming.
The name of the suspect is not being released, though authorities say he turned himself in as agents swarmed his property.
