A six man, six woman Coffee County jury has found Jeffery Smithson guilty on all for counts against him for the August, 2011 murder of his 81-year-old aunt, Virginia White.
Witnesses and arguments are being made now in sentencing phase. The victim’s sons gave heart-wrenching testimony. Smithson could get life without parole. Mitigating circumstances such as the victim’s age will bee taken into consideration.
