Chad Crabtree loses battle with leukemia

The Saturday Independent has learned that 17-year-old Chad Crabtree has died. Crabtree was a ninth-grader at Westwood Junior High in Manchester when he was diagnosed with leukemia. His fight against the disease inspired a facebook page “Cheering for Chad”. We will post funeral arrangements as they become known.
